John Pellew
CEO and Founder

John is the creative mind and driving force behind Othera. He has built and sold two U.K. startups and also has over 20 years experience in business and banking. John worked for RBS in the U.K. and CBA in Australia, in both business and international trade finance. These roles provided John with extensive experience and insight into credit and financial markets which he is combining with a passionate interest in blockchain for the development of the Othera platform.

Conor Svensson
Head Blockchain Architect

Conor is a seasoned technologist having lead and managed development teams at UBS, ANZ and Deutsche Bank where he was responsible for delivering risk, regulatory reporting and algorithmic trading platforms. He is experienced in agile development practices and quantitative modelling of financial markets.

Conor is the author of web3j, the Java library for interacting with nodes on the Ethereum blockchain. He also co-founded startups Cohome and Huffle.

Katie O’Mara
Chief Marketing Officer

Katie has experience working with a number of startups, providing marketing, strategy and BD input.

She also founded a health information startup for health professionals and members of the community. This business involved building a two sided community and partnering with industry organisations, universities, and multi-nationals (Heinz and Nestle), to build brand awareness, develop and execute marketing campaigns, consult on future product development and increase sales.

Anthony Godden
Chief Revenue Officer- Evangelist

Anthony has 18 years of corporate selling experience. He’s been director of business development for large technology companies including Telstra, Russell Adams Aviation software in Dubai, Global Tech Group and most recently, NBN.

Anthony has also worked with early stage startups across a number of industries, providing strategic selling and business development advice.

Jeremy Cohen
Business Analyst

Jeremy worked in South Africa for 10 years undertaking private equity transactions and private debt issuances and restructures for large private companies and listed companies with a small to mid size market capitalisation. These transactions occurred primarily in the mining and industrial sectors, with many equity transactions being for economic empowerment reasons.

Jeremy is also a seed investor and advisor to a peer to peer lender in Hong Kong and China named Pandai.
